2020 COVID-19 Stimulus Check

The $1,200 stimulus checks have started to hit Americans’ bank accounts. However, there are some rules which determines if a person is qualified. For others without a bank account on record with IRS, your check might take much longer to come. Here are things you need to know about the check from Forbes.com.

At CDCI, we are going to continue to monitor this situation as the receiving as well as the lack of receiving of these checks will affect all of us. Two things we wanted to point out:
1. If you receive SSI, SSDI, or retirement, you will be receiving a check.
2. If someone can claim you as a dependent and you are over the age of 16, you are receiving a check at this time. However, there is a push out there to rectify this.
