A covid-19 vaccine has been approved by the CDC and New York State’s independent Clinical Advisory Task Force and is now being administered in phase 1. Phase 1 includes providing the vaccines to healthcare workers and long-term living vicinity residents. It will be free to all.
Currently, the only approved vaccine is the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 Vaccine, but there are several undergoing Phase 3 of their trials. While hesitation surrounding a new vaccine is completely expected and okay, there are many systems being implemented to insure it’s safety.
